Dental Checkup and Cleaning in Manhattan

It feels so good to walk out of the dentist with smooth, clean, bright teeth. Serving up that unique feeling of satisfaction is what we do. We clean your teeth and leave you smiling. We make NYC teeth cleaning easy and affordable, and when it comes to quality, we’ll let your beautiful smile do the talking.

Manhattan dentist Dr. Chavez puts a lot of value on the amount of time he spends with each patient. He is not a dentist who whooshes in and is gone in under 5 minutes! As a new patient, you can expect to spend at least 20-30 minutes with Dr. Chavez at our Manhattan dental office, getting to know each other so that he can learn all about your oral health. If you are an established patient and have a serious issue, then Dr. Chavez will spend as much time needed to get to the bottom of your problem.

Our office also puts a high value on your comfort! From the minute you walk in the door and are greeted by our front desk staff to the time in the chair with our team, we want you to feel at home. We have comfort measures such as TVs on our ceiling and walls, headphones, and beverages for you to enjoy. But we also know that human connection is what will really set you at ease, so we’re interested in getting to know you.

Our highly trained dental hygienist team in NYC will walk you through your cleaning options and check in with you to see if it’s time for new dental digital X-rays. Keeping your X-rays up to date gives us essential insight into what’s going on with your teeth and bones below the surface. We can catch potential problems earlier and help you to avoid more painful issues down the line.

In addition to your basic cleaning, checkup, and X-rays, you may be offered fluoride treatment if you are at a higher risk of cavities as an extra strengthening tool to support your smile’s long-term health. There are a few limitations on what you can eat or drink after fluoride treatment, so we’ll review those details with you as needed if fluoride is recommended.

After your cleaning, our Manhattan team will examine your gums and other oral tissues to check for any signs of periodontal disease or distress. A head and neck exam are also performed to check for grinding and clenching and oral cancer signs. We’ll walk you through a specific action plan if any issues need addressing.

We will also review your oral health practices and share our latest recommendations with you to help ensure that your smile lasts a lifetime.

If you have any questions about dental self-care, nutrition, or other issues that didn’t come up during your visit with us, please don’t hesitate to ask. Your oral health and comfort are our priority at Blue Line Dental, and our Midtown Manhattan team is here to support you.

We Take Care of You
